Annabelle’s yoga journey began early. At fourteen, her mom brought her along to yoga classes at their local church. It was her first exposure to a practice that would quietly stay with her for years.
Yoga became a more consistent part of Annabelle’s life in college, where she took a beginner yoga course and began to deepen her practice.
That curiosity eventually led Annabelle to Rishikesh, India, where she completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training in Ashtanga and Hatha yoga. Since then, she has had the joy of teaching in Sri Lanka, Boise and, now, Hood River.
At Brimstone, Annabelle’s classes are Ashtanga inspired. Expect a structured, familiar class each week. Traditional Ashtanga follows a set sequence of postures practiced in the same order every time; while Annabelle’s classes at Brimstone are not as rigid, they feature many of these foundational postures. This consistent structure allows students to build strength, confidence, and awareness over time, meeting their practice exactly where they are.
